Jackiey Budden is finding life without her daughter very hard
Two years after Jade Goody's death, her grieving mum Jackiey Budden is still getting used to life without the Big Brother star.
'Last year I didn't even grieve. Instead I just hit rock bottom,' Jackiey tells Now.
'I even tried to commit suicide by overdosing on painkillers in October and I'd never had the mentality to do something like that before.
'I didn't want to go on without Jade. I was a caterpillar in a cocoon.
'I stopped seeing my friends for a while and shut myself away in my house.'
But Jackiey, 52, wants Jade's legacy to live on by helping raise awareness about cervical cancer.
'I still talk to Jade every day,' she says. 'I find myself telling her about my life. I miss her so much.
'Jade would be happy knowing we're still fighting for her.
'All women need to get a smear test. A minute of discomfort is better than losing your life.
'Don't ignore it! It's nothing to be scared of.'
