The former California governor asked his agents at Creative Artists Agency to shelve all showbiz projects indefinitely while he focuses on was what delicately described as "personal matters."
The moratorium rode in on a wave of fresh details about Schwarzenegger's relationship with family housekeeper Mildred Baena, which produced a look-alike son 14 years ago:
* Baena, now 50, boasted to a friend that she and the action star would crawl into the marital bed at the Brentwood mansion and have sex with Schwarzenegger after Shriver left the house, TMZ.com reported.
She bragged that she was more of a wife than Shriver because she was always there for Arnie, an anonymous source said.
* Baena was obsessed with Shriver and would wear her clothing and jewelry around town and go to Shriver for relationship and pregnancy advice, TMZ.com said.
* Schwarzenegger only confessed after Shriver confronted Baena with longstanding suspicions her son was actually the governor's child, according to Radaronline.com.
Mildred Baena had an obsession with Shriver according to a report.
* Schwarzenegger dropped a fortune paying for a massive "Quincea�era" party for Baena's niece at which his love child reportedly mingled with his and Shriver's kids.
One of Baena's neighbors claimed a real estate agent told her Schwarzenegger kicked in dough to help Baena buy a new $268,000, four-bedroom house in Bakersfield, Calif.
The real estate agent, Charlene Powers, said Thursday that her information was "second-hand."

Baena hasn't been seen at the house since she was unmasked as Schwarzenegger's onetime paramour - the very night he admitted that Shriver left him because he confessed to having a secret love child.
The boy was born just five days after Shriver gave birth to the last of her four kids.
