Naomi and Max have gone public with their star-crossed romance, but their future is in jeopardy since they?re months away from college, and the acceptance letters start rolling in. Naomi finally gets into CU, what she?s been working toward since last season, but Max?s dream school is MIT, across the country. Navid and Dixon team up to get Silver help for what is obviously a manic-depressive episode, despite her enraged protests otherwise; Annie convinces Marla to attend a screening of one of her movies from the ?60s; and Jen returns to be in Jack?s life. Here?s your ?Women on the Verge? tally!
Geek-chic couples that crop up thanks to Naomi/Max: at least 1
Annie?s sad-kitten faces: 4
Ex- or current boyfriends that Silver eats lunch with: 3
People who turn out for Marla?s screening: hundreds
Reasons that Teddy has to believe that Marco is cheating on him: 4 (not answering phone calls, canceling plans, lying about a soccer game, telling Teddy he lives in a mansion)
Number of times Adrianna shows up in this episode: 1 (to drive Navid home after Silver gets locked up at the psych ward)
Parents that baby Jack will have: 3 (Jen, Ryan, and Debbie)
Drinks that Navid has: enough to get sloshed and let Ade snuggle up to him
Minutes before the end of the episode when I knew Marla was going to kill herself: 4
Most unrealistic element of this episode: Even when Silver has been taken to the hospital, the doctor doesn?t notice that there?s no sign of her meds in her bloodstream. That, and Max turning down MIT to go to CalTech and be near Naomi for college. And Annie not recognizing what it meant when Marla gave her her special Academy Awards necklace.
Next week: In ?The Prom Before the Storm,? every guy has done something wrong at the big dance. And have people always called Beverly Hills ?the zip??
