Countess LuAnn de Lesseps (l. March, r. Tuesday) underwent a major makeover this week.Countess LuAnn de Lesseps now has a sunny hair color to match the gorgeous summer weather in Manhattan.
The "Real Housewives of New York City" cast member debuted blond locks Tuesday, at a party to celebrate the music video for her single, "Chic C'est La Vie."
At the event, hosted at Bar Basque by Life & Style, de Lesseps showed off her long, lighter hair parted on the side and swept into a loose ponytail that rested on her right shoulder.

The Countess, 46, has long been identifiable by her choppy, auburn bob. At first glance, the new hairstyle made her hard to recognize and, at second, it even looked like it could be a wig.
But de Lesseps offered up proof of her do's authenticity on Twitter, where she tweeted a picture of herself mid-makeover at the salon.

"Getting glam for tonight takes a lot of work.....and a lot of foil," she wrote.
The reality star seemed more than pleased with the end result.
"I love my new blonde hair," she tweeted with a photo of herself and celebrity stylist Ted Gibson at the party.
