Jim Carrey may be a grandpa, but he's not losing his edge.
The 49-year-old actor recently debuted a surprising new hairdo when he posted a photo of himself on Twitter covered in paint and sporting a Mohawk.
Onlookers got a better glimpse of the look when Carrey proudly showed it off when he stepped out to dinner at Dan Tana's in West Hollywood with two female friends on Friday.
And while he's been known to alter his look for various on-screen characters, the funnyman's rep said the new rocker persona is not for a role.
Carrey, who spent the last few months filming "Mr. Popper's Penguins" in New York City, seems to be focused just as much on works of art as works of film.
In addition to posting some photos of his abstract work on Twitter, Carrey has reportedly been working on an ever-growing personal art collection.
