LeBron James, seen here in a file photo with Gloria James, commented about her arrest on Thursday.

A new surveillance video released shows LeBron James' mom yelling at cops ? and trying to get out of handcuffs on the night she was arrested.

Gloria James, 46, was arrested after she allegedly slapped a valet runner at The Fontainebleau in Miami in a drunk fit last week. Police said that witnesses and the valet Rockefeller Sorel claimed James assaulted him because she was waiting for her car for too long.

In the latest video released by the police department, the hoopster's mom is seen sitting in handcuffs in a holding room at the police station.

The video shows her agitatedly yelling at the police officer, who had to wipe her face at one point.

In an affidavit obtained by TMZ.com, during the arrest Gloria James was "uncooperative" and began shouting "I'm trying to trust you but I don't trust your kind."

The Miami Heat star broke his silence on Thursday, telling reporters "You have to move forward ? It is my life and there's certain things you have to deal with. You try not to let it be a distraction. I have a job to do, still.

"It's very sensitive because it's your mother," he said. "Of course to have an incident it's very sensitive. But the people around me are helping me."

The trouble may only get worse for both LeBron and his mother, who was charged with simple battery and disorderly intoxication.

Since the incident, sources told TMZ.com that Sorel has claimed he is too traumatized to return to work since the incident and is meeting with a lawyer on Monday.
