Reports surfaced recently claiming that the FBI and IRS have been investigating Madge and the Kabbalah Centre's highly-publicized nonprofit Raising Malawi.
"As we have said previously, Raising Malawi is currently undergoing a series of positive changes in an effort to serve more children," Madonna's rep Liz Rosenberg said in a statement released earlier today. "Neither Madonna nor raising Malawi is being investigated by the FBI or the IRS. It is unfortunate that people have chosen to say things about Raising Malawi and Madonna that are not true."
Raising Malawi's plans to build a $15 million all-girls school were recently ditched after it was revealed that more than $3 million had been spent on the project before they had even broken ground.
The nonprofit is still intact but will now use its money in different ways to help the impoverished African nation, according to The New York Times.
Rosenberg said that Madonna is "committed and focused on what matters, helping the children of Malawi."
