MF Grimm is a master of Multisyllabic rhymes and word play, i think he himself is better at flowing than G rap.
both are geniuses.
but grimm was so low key, working with many 90?s rap moguls and stars. and throws rhymes dirty as fuck.

@chanrider A freestyle used to be a verse that had no real content that was pre written. Thats what BDK says anyway. When freestyles as we know them were first being made people that did them were made fun of at first because people said they freestyled because they did not know how to write.

@romainelettuce2 uh?na.
freestyle does not equal lyrics that you wrote, over a different beat with no cuts. a freestyle is where you may or may not use some written lines, and the rest is ?off the dome?. same with battles, an emcee ?might? use some written, generalized lines to connect to a punchline or keep the flow.
if you want to know what a freestyle is, watch a good emcee battle and you?ll know how much improvisation is in a ?good? freestyle.

I keep my ugly rhymes in the cellar of my cranium, where no one can see them, or hear cries for freedom, chopped up raw thoughts the only thing I feed ?em, release the beast from the cellar when I need ?em, -MF GRIMM

@romainelettuce2 I?m 36 and have been listening to hip hop all my life. I?ve always thought freestyle = off of the dome. Maybe that?s just my definition.
