Mark Hamill, like many celebrities, has lost the boyish good looks that made him famous.Mark Hamill has begun learning a hard lesson: you don't always want the force to be with you.
The "Star Wars" actor, like the rest of us mere mortals, is no match against the forces of time, which cause even the handsomest of stars to lose their boyish good looks.
The 59-year-old, best known for his role as Luke Skywalker, stepped back into the spotlight Wednesday at a wrap party for his indie film "Sushi Girl."
In addition to sporting a paler complexion, Hamill's face now has reminders of all the years that have gone by in the form of wrinkles on his forehead as well as his eyes and jaw line.

Hamill's aging, unfortunately, serves as a reminder of just how old the rest of us have gotten, too. The first "Star Wars" flick came out in 1977 ? more than three decades ago.
Last summer, Hamill reunited with "Star Wars" mastermind George Lucas and co-star Carrie Fisher at "Star Wars Celebration V," a fan convention.
Like Hamill, Fisher bears little resemblance these days to her Princess Leia character. The 54-year-old recently became a spokeswoman for Jenny Craig after finding herself feeling humiliated about her looks.
"I look on the Internet and they say, 'Whatever happened to Carrie Fisher? She used to be so hot and now she looks like Elton John,' " she told People in January. "I was really hurt."
