Chris Brown has claimed people have now forgiven him for attacking former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 and says fellow musicians approached him to work on his new album 'F.A.M.E.'
Chris Brown feels people have finally forgiven him for attacking Rihanna.
The 21-year-old singer - who was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community service for assaulting his then-girlfriend in 2009 - admits he has been shunned by a number of celebrity pals for the last two years, but thinks people are now willing to put the incident behind them.
He explained: "A handful of people stuck by me. But when [most] people see certain things happen to somebody, they usually turn away.
"They don't want to get involved with it because they don't want their name attached to anything negative."
The last two years, everybody dissed me. But my fans were so dedicated.
Chris also believes one of the reasons people are now willing to forget about his past is because they want to work with him again.
Although his career nosedived after the attack, Chris claims a number of his contemporaries approached him to appear on his new album 'F.A.M.E.'
He told Page Six magazine: "They wanna get on the record. They wanna let me back in the door.
"The last two years, everybody dissed me. But my fans were so dedicated.
"The way I look at it is, you can't walk around mad, because then you just prove everybody right that you're an angry person."
